I have an unusual affinity for bread. I currently have one of those automatic bread makers. I’m not asking for recipes, per se, because I have several I use and like very much. I guess I am asking should I nix the mixer and try to roll out my own dough and such. How difficult is that? Is the final product that much better than using an automatic bread maker?
How does one get the actual bread OUT of the bread maker once it’s done?! I made bread for the first time with a bread maker that my parents used to own and they passed it down to me because they got a new/bigger one. And it wouldn’t come out. I ended up destroying the bread trying to pull it out of the thing.
I’m going to ask them later today about it but do you guys know?
Yes, lol, it is in the basket thing. I took the basket out by the handle and the bread was still stuck inside the basket.
I was thinking of giving a bread maker as a Christmas gift. I know nothing about them. Can you only make one loaf at a time? This would be for a family of six so one tiny loaf will not do.
I also want one that is easy to clean and easy to understand as far as directions go.
I might be able to get one at Costco or Sams, but if I know what the best one is I will buy it outright.
I will probably be making the bread as I watch my daughter’s kids. Is a bread machine much easier to use as compared to doing it all by hand? How long does it take to make from start to finish.
Thanks.
