The first bread I made in my bread machine was blah. It’s a Breadman breadmaker (does this even matter?) Thanks!
We’ll move on to whole grains if I ever master white bread!

I’m looking for bread machine recipes that don’t include powdered milk or tips on how do I use whole milk? Also if I wanted to add garlic powder or cornmeal, how do I try that?

Plain old fashioned white fluffy bread. The recipes I’ve gotten a hold of seem to be too salty or no flavor at all. Thanks in advance
So far, I have baked two batches of the Perfect White bread recipe by Jim and I can’t thank you enough. I’m baking for a four man crew of commercial fishermen and got good reviews..have’nt been able to test it myself though as they took it all. I will continue with trying the other recipes donated. Thank you all for sending them in.

My machine is about 12 years old, is a Zojirushi and I’ve successfully made thousands of loaves. But I cannot make a great loaf since the move. The texture is course and sometimes it rises up and then falls down before baking. The man at the store where I purchased it said my flour is too course, BUT I HAVEN’T CHANGED IT!!!! I have purchased new yeast. The recipe:

1 2/3 c water
2 1/2 teas. yeast
1 T. sugar
3 cups flour
1/4 cup vital wheat gluten
1 1/2 teas. salt

I don’t have a bread machine and have been searching the net and no luck yet on finding a white bread recipe that doesn’t require a bread machine please help?

I’d like to make low glycemic bread in my bread machine but can’t find any help on line. Has anyone come up with a recipe they would share? or tips?
