I have a bread recipe that says to mix on high for a little while, then add yeast, mix some more, etc. Can I just throw all the ingredients in my bread machine according to the directions, and let the bread machine make the dough?
I followed the recipe to a ‘t’ but I found it kind of sponge cakeish.
Has anyone got any suggestions or should I just say shag it and learn how to make bread the old fashioned way.
All the ones I’ve tried are either really heavy or crumb everywhere when I slice it. My machine can do either 1 pound loaves or 1.5 pound loaves.
I have been hooked on dinner rolls, making the dough in the machine.
I was just wondering if anyone had any good ideas for some breads that turn out exeptionally good?
My problem is I only have 1 C of white flour
I do have a LOT of whole wheat flour but haven’t found a wheat recipe that I can use. I have no honey in the house, no maple syrup.
I only have 1 shot at this to get a loaf of bread..
I ended up finding a recipe online.
And the type of bread machine doesn’t make any difference but I forgot to say I have a little 1lb machine LOL
do you have one that’s worked well for you? wanna make some tomorrow….thanks!
All the recipes call for bread flour I’ve looked in the stores and no one has that all they have is all purpose flour. I assume you can use that in bread recipes for bread machines?
