I’m interested in the best quality, not the price.

Found that my bread machine recipe doesn’t work well in the high altitude so i need a recipe for a good whole wheat bread

I use my breadmaker with the dough-only cycle. My breadmaker has been leaking grey goo into the kneaded bread for several weeks. And today, the breadmaker just did a terrible job of kneading the bread — kind of crusty, not all the way mixed, and it didn’t rise at all. I popped it in again, and this time when I checked it after about 10 minutes, the heating element was on, and I almost burned my fingers on the handle.

I unplugged everything, then tried again. Mixed, but still not rising, so I tried a third time with an extra sprinkling of yeast. No rise, and the yeast wasn’t mixed in.

I bought the breadmaker about four years ago, and I’ve never had this problem before.

The packing has kind of come out, so I think I need to buy a new breadpan at least. My husband thinks I should buy a new machine, but I hate to waste it if the machine is still good for kneading. Do you think the machine is a goner?

The two new breadmakers from the Philips Viva and Pure Essentials Collections have a selection of clever features that make it simple to enjoy fresh bread any time. A signal invites you to add ingredients alongside the basic bread mix, meaning you can create specialty flavors with ease and make the breads you love and experiment with new ones.

I am playing around with my bread machine and have been having a great time making different kinds of breads. One of my favorite is cheddar and chive and another is garlic. What are yours?

It mixes the dough ball very well, but the bread is never bakes when the entire cycle is finished. What am i doing wrong, or is it just a defective machine. i used the recipe book that came with the machine and i used one simple recipe i found on the internet for french bread. none of them worked. the bread was always the same, uncooked and pasty white still, like lightly hardened dough on the outside, while the inside was always still soft and very moist and mushy. I am not an experienced breadmaker so i really need help because my husband looooves to have fresh hot bread every day. I just wanna make the guy happy… I don’t know how to ‘adjust’ the recipes or anything like that, please tell me if you’ve had similar experiences and what you did to fix it!

I have some great family bread recipes, but it’s for the oven and I borrowed a bread machine from a friend and I thought I would try making them in there, but I don’t know if it will work. I don’t have the manual for the bread machine so I don’t know the cooking times and temps for each setting.
If I can’t use my recipes, I need a bread recipe for pumpkin and zuccini in the bread machine that you have tried and it works great.
