The Panasonic SD-YD250 automatic bread maker is a 21st century electronic marvel when it comes to convenience and choice. It not only mixes, kneads, rises, and bakes bread in three loaf sizes up to 2-1/2 pounds. But you can add to that the myriad of digital controls that go to a new height, offering settings for white, whole wheat, multigrain, and French (crisp crust, open texture) breads, each made according to what’s best for that particular style. 
And that’s not all! Other settings permit rapid baking and baking sandwich bread with a soft crust. My sister-in-law makes some fantastic bread in her bread-maker; it’s one of the highlights when we go visit her. She’s a very good baker and she really recommends the using a bread-maker to get the best results for home-baked bread. The smell through the house is amazing.
